So many people believe children are supposed to act a certain way. Eat a certain way. Play a certain way. But just as every adult is different, so is every child. My son does not sit still. If he is speaking, he walks in a circle. If he is watching TV, he has to at least be rocking in a chair. It drives me crazy!! But there is nothing wrong with him, that is his way of functioning. Accepting our children for who they are, and NOT what society claims they should be, is the greatest gift we can give them. I am so happy that your son's diagnosis has given you the freedom to accept that loving your child makes you a good parent, no matter what anyone says about how they would do it better. Good luck to both of you and I look forward to reading your thoughts on your experiences. angb78https://www.blogger.com/profile/15472768613654536665noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2742513755380604219.post-79251837670419814062014-02-12T20:19:18.373-08:002014-02-12T20:19:18.373-08:00This sounds like my almost 3 year old with the foo...This sounds like my almost 3 year old with the food! The only voice you need to listen to is that of the Holy Spirit. He will lead you in the way that is right. You're a good mom - rest in that.Rebekahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11920816691217676013noreply@blogger.com
